Garden Revitalization Project
Goal
To inspire stakeholders of the Los Angeles Public Library system especially in the Echo Park Branch to promote biodiversity, pollinator gardens, and sustainability in the community.
Solution
To expand on the initial WiLiHaLa garden project (Wildlife Habitat Los Angeles) and create more opportunities for workshops to demonstrate concepts of sustainability especially on soil health, water conservation, renewable energy, biodiversity and pollinator gardens.
Actions
1. Expand the WiliHaLA garden to more areas of the Echo Park Library Branch.
2. Create educational video content for a hybrid tour of the WiliHaLA garden project.
3. Install signs within the garden that integrates to the hybrid tour.
